These are OEM CV Shaft flange gaskets with an adhesive backing to stick in place better for easier assembly. This gasket goes between the CV shaft and flange at the transmission or the flange at the rear differential that is held together with 6 bolts. This gasket fits both the front and rear CV shafts. Without these your inner CV Shaft joints will lose grease and fling it everywhere. These fit the B5 S4.
