Note: This works for screw on knobs ONLY. In the future we may offer the option for clamp on knob versions.

These are made for each order since they are semi custom, plan on 2 to 4 weeks before it can ship.

This extension is used to raise the gear shift knob to provide a better arm angle for more comfortable, precise shifting. Ideal for road racers who need to keep their eye on the road and hands on the steering wheel.

Here is the data for length from steering wheel for the 4 inch model only.

Stock:

1st - 6.25"

2nd - 6.5"

3rd - 7"

4th - 7.5"

5th - 8.5"

6th 8.5"

JHM Race Extension:

1st - 4"

2nd - 5"

3rd - 5.5"

4th - 6.5"

5th - 7.5"

6th - 8"

So all gears are closer. Along with it being closer, there is added weight from this unit and more leverage making shifts very smooth and effortless. Remember to be kind to those syncros!
