VAG Cable - Generic USB
[TOL-VAGcable]		 $35.00

This is a generic USB OBDII VAG Cable that installs (drivers) as a serial port and works with the free version of VAG-com version 409.1. You can always upgrade through Ross-Tech's site for more powerful software. This free version of VAG-come was designed to be used with Windows XP and older systems. However for Vista some have been able to use this procedure on Microsoft's website to allow Vista to run it in "xp mode" CLICK HERE

With this cable and the free software you can check codes (some may only have numbers and no description, but you can always look those up), log through block 030, use lemmiwinks and change your door lock settings, etc.

FITMENT: B5 and B6 chassis S4s and A4s. (NOTE: We have specifically tried this on B7 S4s and it does not work, we are looking into a work around.)

Get the Vag-com 409.1 shareware software -->HERE (this generic cable is USB but the drivers install it as a COM-serial port, so the software on the left is the one you want to download)
